We provide temporary shelter for couples and single parents (male or female) with children, serving families of up to five members.Please note: Our shelter can accommodate up to 5 families at one time, and we maintain an active waiting list. Availability is limited and space is not guaranteed at the time of application.

Who We Serve

We provide temporary shelter for couples and single parents (male or female) with children, serving families of up to five members. Please note: Our shelter can accommodate up to 5 families at one time, and we maintain an active waiting list. What We Offer

  • 30–90 day shelter stay
  • Personalized case management and support
  • Financial literacy and budgeting workshops
  • Housing placement assistance
  • Potential move-in assistance upon program completion (not guaranteed)

Client Requirements

To apply, families must meet the following qualifications:

  • Currently reside in the Volusia County area
  • Provide a valid state ID or active driver’s license
  • Submit Social Security cards for all household members
  • Provide birth certificates and immunization records for children
  • Provide custody agreements (if applicable)
  • Consent to arrest record checks
  • Provide drug test results for all household members age 16+
  • Please note: We are unable to accommodate expecting mothers or infants under 6 months of age.

Program Expectations

  • Gain employment within 30 days of entering the program
  • Attend weekly case management and house meetings
  • Submit pay stubs and bank statements
  • Adhere to curfew and sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Complete and log daily morning and evening chores
  • Participate in workshops and life skills training

After you apply you will be contacted by a staff member. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will be invited for an in-person interview.  Interviews are conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
