Food insecurity is rising across Central Florida, and we’re seeing it firsthand in West Volusia. Our Bridge Shelter serves community meals daily to anyone needing a hot meal. Hardworking and caring volunteers prepare and serve lunches and dinners for individuals and families. Various meal shifts are available each month and we are always looking for volunteers to join in and lend a helping hand. We are seeking volunteers willing to 1) Purchase 2) Prepare AND 3) Serve meals. Ideally, on a recurring basis (i.e. once a month, once a week, etc.).
