Fall Newsletter – Full of Fantastic Happenings

October 20, 2023

Greetings,

Thank you for subscribing to our newsletter. We’re delighted to have you on board and can’t wait to share these exciting updates as we head into the holiday season.

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s happening in our world:

  • Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of our new office space: We’re thrilled to announce The Center for Neighbors in Need. It’s a significant milestone for us, and we can’t wait to show it off.
  • Community Partnerships: We’re proud to work with various community partners, hosting drives and fundraisers to support our cause. These collaborations are vital to our mission and help us make a positive impact.
  • Increasing Demand for Services: The need for our services has increased. We are committed to meeting this demand and making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
  • Volunteer Recognition: We are thrilled to announce that our esteemed long-time friend and Board Member, Gery Walker, will be honored with a special award for her decades of dedicated volunteer service.
  • Our Thrift Store is thriving and celebrating one year in its new location. We are searching to expand the team by adding a Marketing Coordinator who will also help the Development Department with social media and other assistance, and we have room for one more customer service team member.
  • The Bridge: Over the past few months, the community room at our Bridge shelter has served as a respite and refuge from extreme weather conditions. This has had a positive impact on the community. We have also extended the usage of the community room to include day center programs.

Please learn more about these happenings and others as you scroll through our newsletter. We encourage you to follow us on our social media platforms to stay updated in real time. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, where we post frequent updates and engaging content.

Thank you for being part of our journey in the fight against homelessness and poverty and for your ongoing support. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond. Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and as always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want to get involved.

In Community,
