Inaugurated in September 2020, The Bridge serves as a symbol of hope and a vital resource for 30 single adults in the heart of DeLand. This facility is owned and funded by the City of DeLand and operated by The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia (NHCWV)—a powerful example of how community collaboration can address homelessness. The Bridge provides a holistic approach to care, offering a safe haven, essential daily services, and a pathway toward permanent stability.
We serve unsheltered single adult men and women in the West Volusia area. Our facility can accommodate 14 women and 16 men at one time. We also serve as a Day Center for unsheltered community members.
