Monday – Saturday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Closed Sundays

Donations are welcome daily until 3:00 pm. Please do not leave donations after the store closes or after 3 pm. For larger items, a convenient pick-up service is available by appointment.

In October 2022, The Neighborhood Center Thrift Store relocated to South Spring Garden Avenue in DeLand. This new location has allowed the store to continue and grow its mission effectively. In addition to selling furniture, clothing, and household items, the Neighborhood Center Thrift Store also supports center clients with vouchers that can be redeemed for clothing and other household items further aiding those in need and ensuring that the center’s clients have access to essential items. 

 

Donation Pick-up Procedure

Thank you for choosing to support our mission! Your donation helps us feed the
hungry, house the homeless, and prevent homelessness in our community. Every
contribution makes a difference.

For large furniture or appliances, we offer free pick-up service. To ensure efficiency, please note:

  • Furniture donations should be given directly to
    our drivers. Smaller items (such as clothing or household goods) can be
    dropped off Monday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM.
  • For insurance purposes and the safety of our team, we cannot pick up items left outside or on the porch. Someone must be present at the pickup location.
  • We cannot accept items with scratches, dents, rips, stains, pet hair, or odors, as we do not have the resources to clean them.
  • To protect our team, we may decline heavy or difficult-to-move pieces.

To arrange a pick-up of furniture or appliance donations, please text good pictures of all sides of the items to 386-349-0595, and a customer service person will call you to schedule a time.

Pick-up windows: Wednesday 2 PM – 4 PM, Thursday, and Friday 8 AM–12 PM or 2 PM–4 PM (subject to traffic, distance, or truck availability). Please call to
reschedule. In times of high demand, we may implement a waitlist.
