The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia cut the ribbon on its newest transitional housing facility this morning! GAP (Growth and Achievement Program) House will bring an additional 12 beds to West Volusia, thus increasing the agency’s total bed capacity (emergency and transition) to 162. The beds are earmarked for men in transition or at risk of homelessness.
Residents of GAP House must have income, pay $100 rent per week, and be in process of transitioning to permanent supportive housing or independent housing.
Rent includes utilities, water and food.
Residents can stay in GAP House for no longer than 12 months. #lovelocal
